Art Eisenberg accepts the Simon Kaplan Distinguished Leadership Award at the GMFA/DMCCF outing and charity event.
The Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association (GMFA) and the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation (DMCCF) announced that their jointly held June golf outing raised over $135,000 for children and families in need. The two-day event attracted over 300 participants and dinner guests. DMCCF helps families who need direct financial support as they cope with expenses associated with cancer treatment. One hundred percent of the fundraising proceeds go directly to individuals and families. Over $2.7 million has been donated by DMCF over the past 20 years.
Art Eisenberg, Seigerman’s Furniture & Interior Design owner and founder of One Ten Home Furnishings, was presented with the Simon Kaplan Distinguished Leadership Award at a celebratory dinner during which grants of $5,000 were given to three children and two adults to support their cancer-fighting journeys.
